Thanks For Visiting Predict The Oscars! Help

Over the last couple of years we have added many features that require more than just a mouse click so it's probably high time we put some instructions out here for you in case using them isn't intuitively obvious.  Anyway, you're not a "real" internet site until you need and have help!

The primary purpose of this site is to promote a greater appreciation of film art and appreciation.  I know this will never be a replacement for Yahoo! or IMDB but that's why all of our movie pages also include links to these fine sites.  There are a number of features we have that these other sites don't, primarily at least one Oscar contest each year that includes cash prizes.

This has been a good development year for us.  As we approach our 6^th contest and third year providing it on-line it's a good time to reflect on what's new:

• The site includes movie detail pages for all this year's major release and a large number of independent films whereas before we only includes films nominated for Academy Awards
• With a membership you can enter and display your own movie reviews and maintain a Movie Log page.
• Members may set-up and join private games making it easier to see how your predictions stand up to those of your friends and family
• As a member you are able to view, print and change your ballot any time you like up until balloting closes just prior to the beginning of the awards.  You'll also be able to see ballots from previous years.

To the left you will see current help topics.  These are being added to currently but if you don't see what you're looking for or the help isn't clear, please drop us a line using feedback and we'll get your questions answered.
